The Role We are looking for a motivated and curious Software Engineer I to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across our entire technology stack, contributing to both our client-facing web applications and our core backend services. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, shipping features that directly impact our users. This is an ideal position for someone with a solid technical foundation who is eager to learn, take on new challenges, and grow their career in a fast-paced startup environment. What You'll Do Develop and maintain features for our web applications using React. Build and support backend API endpoints and services using Python (FastAPI/Flask). Collaborate with the team to fix bugs, write unit tests, and improve code quality. Participate in code reviews, learning from and contributing to our team's best practices. Work with our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Cloud Run and Firestore. What We're Looking For Experience: 1-2+ years of professional software development experience or a strong portfolio of projects. Backend Skills: Familiarity with Python and at least one web framework (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django). Frontend Skills: Experience with modern JavaScript and a frontend framework, preferably React. Database Knowledge: Understanding of databases, both SQL and NoSQL (experience with Firestore or MongoDB is a plus). Curiosity: A strong desire to learn new technologies and grow as an engineer. Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, positive attitude.
