Job Description – SOAR Engineer (Splunk Phantom / Cortex XSOAR)

Skill: Cloud Platform – Logging & Monitoring Engineer

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore

Shift Timing: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Experience: 6–10 Years

CTC Range: ₹10 – 22 LPA

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SOAR Engineer with expertise in Splunk Phantom or Cortex XSOAR and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) logging and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security automation, playbook development, and cloud monitoring, and will play a key role in driving automation initiatives for cloud security and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and enhance the Tines SOAR platform, developing advanced security automation playbooks.

Build new Tines Actions and connectors using REST APIs and JSON to automate workflows.

Automate Google Cloud resource configuration using custom Tines Actions.

Partner with security and cloud engineering teams to automate complex operational and security workflows.

Enable and configure logging for critical GCP services and resources.

Develop custom log-based alerts within Cloud Monitoring for proactive detection of security and operational events.

Build intuitive dashboards to monitor health, performance, and security of GCP resources.

Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting best practices across the GCP environment.

Required Skills & Experience

6–10 years of professional experience in Cloud Platform Logging, Monitoring, and SOAR Engineering.

Strong knowledge of Splunk Phantom / Cortex XSOAR and security automation playbook development.

Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and building custom integrations.

Proven hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly logging, monitoring, and alerting.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, cloud operations, DevOps).

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.

Certifications (Preferred)

GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer or

GCP Professional Cloud Architect
