Job description:
STEM Smart IT, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled RFI Proposal Writer to join our team. with experience writing IT or technology-based contracts for U.S. Federal Government , state , and city agencies . Candidates with experience in pricing strategy and cost estimations are highly preferred.
Job Title: Remote Part-Time RFI Proposal Writer for U.S. Federal Government
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced RFI Proposal Writer to join our team on a part-time remote basis . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and related documents with IT or technology-based contracts for U.S. Federal Government , state , and city agencies . Candidates with experience in pricing strategy and cost estimations are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and write comprehensive, persuasive, and compliant RFI and RFP responses tailored to government specifications.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather input, clarify requirements, and develop competitive proposals.
Ensure all submissions meet formatting, compliance, and quality standards as specified by the requesting agency.
Prepare detailed pricing strategies and assist in cost estimations to align with competitive government benchmarks.
Manage multiple RFI/RFP simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in writing RFIs, RFPs, RFXs and related proposals for U.S. Federal Government, state, and city agencies.
Strong understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in proposal writing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to interpret and analyze technical information for non-technical audiences.
Experience with pricing models and strategies is a strong advantage.
Work Environment:
Fully remote.
Flexible hours with an expectation of meeting proposal deadlines.
