Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled
Tableau Developer
with expertise in
Tableau Administration, Linux, and migration/implementation experience
. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Tableau reporting and dashboard development, strong Linux administration skills, and a solid understanding of backend database management. This role involves maintaining Tableau environments, handling migrations, implementing solutions, and automating processes to ensure high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain
    Tableau Server
    across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Design, develop, and optimize
    Tableau dashboards and reports
    to meet business needs.
  • Lead
    Tableau migration and implementation projects
    (6 months each).
  • Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and perform proactive troubleshooting.
  • Handle incident management, service requests, and escalations related to Tableau.
  • Automate tasks using
    Python
    and
    Linux shell scripting
    .
  • Perform Linux administration tasks: log monitoring, cron jobs, user/file system management, and system health checks.
  • Support backend processes with
    PL/SQL
    and
    Oracle databases
    .
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive
    data accessibility
    and enhance BI solutions.
  • Provide basic integration and support for
    SAP Business Objects
    (preferred).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience
    in Tableau development and administration.
  • Strong expertise in
    Linux systems
    : command-line operations, scripting, and server monitoring.
  • Migration and implementation
    experience (minimum 6 months each).
  • Proficiency in
    Python scripting
    for automation.
  • Strong knowledge of
    PL/SQL
    and Oracle database concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau Server configuration, extract scheduling, and user access management.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Exposure to
    SAP Business Objects
    (added advantage).
  • Must be
    Pune-based
    and available for
    immediate joining
    .
