They are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA Automation professional to join their vibrant team in Hyderabad.

Role: QA Automation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the team's expert on the product's functionality, drawing insights from TPM, product owners, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Design procedures and processes for maintaining test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts, and procedures, ensuring functionality is correctly related to test cases.
  • Create and maintain automation frameworks and automated test suites, defining strategies for baselining and increasing test automation coverage quarterly.
  • Establish standards and processes for load/stress testing, derive metrics, and provide guidance for improvement areas.
  • Plan and execute test schedules in line with project scope and delivery dates.
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure high functionality, usability, and testability during grooming sessions.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine QA processes and methodologies, enforcing them across all involved teams.
  • Conduct release regression testing, integration testing, automation testing, and end-to-end testing, playing a key role in GO/NO-GO decisions for release promotions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to the process, tests, or customers, requiring minimal direction.
  • Document methods and procedures for new assignments and present them to the team.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Recognize broader solutions based on trends/root causes and recommend appropriate actions, asking the right questions.
  • Mentor new and junior teammates.
  • Troubleshoot quality and support issues, modifying test procedures as necessary.
  • Ensure successful product deployment by defining and implementing comprehensive end-to-end product test strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field (Math, Engineering, Computers) is preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 4-8 years of professional QA experience.
  • Proficiency in code and requirement coverage measurement.
  • Experience with ATDD, TDD, and BDD methodologies.
  • Proficiency in work tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Experience maintaining test scenarios/cases and results using relevant tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile scrum team environment.
  • Experience in REST API Testing.
  • Expertise in UI and API automation using Selenium or other tools.
  • Proven experience in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks.
