Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and operating AWS environments, automating infrastructure, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our applications by leveraging AWS services and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate AWS environments , ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation .
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications (iOS, Android, Backend, Web) using AWS services like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy .
- Utilize AWS services such as ECS, EC2 (Auto Scaling, Security Groups), S3, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, QuickSight, CloudFront, SQS, SNS, ElastiCache, Route53, and Lambda .
- Monitor system performance and application availability using tools like NewRelic, CloudWatch, and the ELK stack .
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards for cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve them.
- Write scripts in Bash, Python, or Ruby to automate various processes.
- Implement and maintain monitoring systems to guarantee high availability and performance of applications.
- Stay current with the latest AWS tools and technologies, recommending improvements where applicable.
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in AWS environment management .
- Proven experience with AWS services : ECS, EC2 (Auto Scaling, Security Groups), S3, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route53, Lambda, and more.
- Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation preferred).
- Experience in developing in at least one high-level programming language.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using AWS services (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy).
- Knowledge of operating system administration (Linux/Windows).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as NewRelic, CloudWatch , and ELK stack .
- Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Python , or Ruby .
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance in AWS environments.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification or equivalent.
- Experience with application migration to AWS and knowledge of migration strategies.
- Familiarity with high-level architecture for AWS-based applications.
- Knowledge of container orchestration (ECS/EKS) and DevOps services on AWS.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
