Shopify App Developer


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify App Developer to join our dynamic team.


As a Shopify App Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify apps that enhance the functionality and user experience of our e-commerce platform.


You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, implement solutions, and ensure seamless integration of Shopify apps with our online store.


Responsibilities :


1. App Development : Design, develop, and maintain Shopify apps that meet the business requirements and enhance the overall functionality of the e-commerce platform.


2. Customization : Customize and extend existing Shopify features to align with the specific needs of the business, ensuring a unique and optimal user experience.


3. Integration : Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and services to enhance the capabilities of the Shopify platform and provide additional functionalities.


4. Collaboration : Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure successful implementation of Shopify apps.


5. Testing and Debugging : Conduct thorough testing of Shopify apps to identify and resolve any bugs, glitches, or performance issues. Ensure the stability and reliability of the developed applications.


6. Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for developed Shopify apps, including code documentation, API documentation, and implementation guides.


7. Upgrades and Maintenance : Stay updated on the latest Shopify updates, features, and best practices. Perform regular upgrades and maintenance to keep Shopify apps in compliance with the latest standards.


8. Performance Optimization : Identify opportunities for performance optimization within Shopify apps, implement improvements, and monitor app performance metrics.


Requirements :


1. Proven Experience : Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in developing Shopify apps and customizing Shopify themes.


2. Proficient in Web Technologies : Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with popular web development frameworks.


3. Shopify Expertise : In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform, including the Liquid templating language and the Shopify API.


4. Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.


5. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


6. Self-Motivated : Proactive attitude, ability to work independently, and willingness to take ownership of projects.


7. Adaptability : Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.


8. Portfolio : A portfolio of previous Shopify apps or projects is highly desirable.


Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
