Job Title: Lead Maintenance Electrical
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Nagothane, Maharashtra
Job Accountabilities
 Accountable for maintaining and maximizing reliability & availability of Electrical equipment & distribution system / Power Electronics equipment / Power System at plant.
 Improve reliability through Continuous Improvement techniques/ up-gradation / Projects / implementation of advance diagnostic and online condition monitoring techniques.
 Conduct Performance monitoring & benchmarking of site electrical equipment.
 Implement and provide inputs to standardize best practices, group guidelines and LFIs for reliability improvement specific to plant electrical equipment.
 Follow and enforce applicable HSEF procedures/ practices and RIL Group Safety Standards.
 Participate in reliability & Integrity studies as identified
 Review and Validate Capex /MOC-T proposals for the plant. Support for Technical Due Diligence for major activities, minor projects, plant expansions and modifications / Major Turnarounds.
 Lead troubleshooting for resolution of major & critical failures/issues. Generate LFI, Alerts based on major failures, safety incidences.
 Carry out RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for equipment failures, monitor implementation of RCA recommendations.
 Carry out RCM / FMEA study for electrical equipment & systems
 Study and participate in electrical reliability and integrity studies.
 Assist in Power system & protection study to ensure integrity of power system.
 Review and maintain equipment protection schemes, protection relay setting & relay co- ordination
 Review power system model through ETAP.
 Identify and Implement energy conservation initiatives.
 Reduce production losses from defects / failures/ breakdowns.
 Support for Knowledge management and Documentation management.
 Responsible for plant maintenance cost budgeting and optimization of resources.
 Implementation of group guidelines and govern plant asset renewal plan & obsolescence management
 Identify training needs for subordinates and support for competency and skill development.
 Support Knowledge and documentation management.
 Carry out Inspection, quality assurance, maintenance and safety audits as required.
 Reduce production losses from defects / failures/ breakdowns.
Skill & Competencies
 In depth knowledge of best maintenance practices, energy conservation measures, project management. Manage and lead a team of electrical engineers with strong trouble shooting capabilities.
 Knowledge of various RCA techniques, Reliability Centred Maintenance, FMEA reliability tools.
 Knowledge of Power system operation and maintenance
 Analytical thinking
 Managing Ambiguity
 Teaming, Leading and developing people
 Decision making, Strategic direction & Managing Change
 Understanding various cross functional knowledge
 Knowledge of SAP PM/ MM modules.
 Familiarized with applicable guidelines /codes / standards / legislations.
Education Required
 Candidate should have BE / ME / B Tech / M Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience Required
 Minimum 5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer required
