Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure product assortments meet customer demand and reflect current fashion trends.
Support in creating merchandising plans, including product allocation, pricing strategies, and markdowns.
Manage product lifecycle, including planning, pricing, inventory control, and markdowns to optimize profitability.
Oversee product selection and assortment planning, ensuring a balance of core and seasonal styles that reflect our brand identity.
Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines.
Monitor stock levels and work with the production team to ensure timely product availability.
Create sales forecasts and performance reports to provide actionable insights to senior management.
Stay updated on competitor activities and industry trends to keep our product offerings competitive and innovative.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Fashion Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in merchandising or buying, preferably in the fashion industry.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences in women’s fashion.
Ability to manage inventory, sales planning, and stock replenishment strategies.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A passion for fashion and a deep understanding of consumer behavior.
