About the Role

As a
Data Analyst
within our NGO, you'll transform raw data into meaningful insights that guide program decisions, donor strategy, and impact evaluation. Your expertise will help drive our mission and enable data-led action across all levels of the organization.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented
Data Analyst with a finance background
to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for analysing financial and operational data, preparing reports, and providing insights that support business decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data tools, and an understanding of financial concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyse large sets of financial and business data.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for management.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes through data analysis.
  • Work closely with finance and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Automate recurring reports and processes for efficiency.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or related field
    .
  • Proven experience as a
    Data Analyst / Business Analyst
    in finance or related domain.
  • Strong knowledge of
    financial concepts, ratios, and reporting standards
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
    (Power BI / Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (MBA, Finance, or related field).
  • Knowledge of
    Python / R
    for advanced data analysis.
  • Experience with
    financial modelling
    and
    forecasting tools
    .
  • Prior experience in BFSI / FinTech sector.
