Title : Platform Software Engineer

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid)

Experience : 3+ years

Key Responsibilities :

1. Backend Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain the backend services and APIs that power our platform.

2. Cloud Integration : Utilize cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to architect, deploy, and manage scalable and cost-effective solutions.

3. Microservices : Develop and maintain microservices architecture, including containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).

4. Database Management : Design and optimize databases, both SQL and NoSQL, for data storage and retrieval, ensuring data consistency and performance.

5. Scalability : Implement auto-scaling and load balancing strategies to handle increased traffic and demand efficiently.

6. Security : Implement security best practices, including encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms, to protect sensitive data and ensure platform security.

7. Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

8. Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

9. Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system architecture, APIs, and deployment processes.

10. Performance Optimization : Continuously optimize platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance user experience.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in backend development and cloud architecture.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for backend development (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).

- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and Kubernetes.

- Experience of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Database expertise with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.

- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
