Job Title: Trainee Design Engineer - Intelligent Building Management System (IBMS)

Entry-level role focused on learning to design, develop, Building Management Systems that control and optimize building environments. This includes managing HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), lighting, security, energy consumption, and IoT-integrated features for commercial, residential, or industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Assisting in the design and development of IBMS layouts, schematics, and technical documentation, including control diagrams, I/O schedules, and network architectures.

Ø Learning to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using tools like AutoCAD.

Ø Supporting the selection of IBMS components such as sensors, controllers, actuators, and IoT devices to meet project requirements for energy optimization and occupant comfort.

Ø Collaborating with senior engineers to understand client needs, assess building requirements, and ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Ø Participating in site visits to verify IBMS functionality and performance.

Ø Undertaking training programs and staying updated on emerging technologies like AI and machine learning in building systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education.

A degree or diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering,

Technical Skills.

Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.

Familiarity with office tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook).

Soft Skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Effective communication for team collaboration and client interactions

proactive learning attitude.

Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.

Other Requirements.

Willingness to travel to sites anywhere within India (e.g., for assessments or commissioning verification)
