Embedded Engineer

Job Description :

- Embedded Designer and developer with FPGA firmware developer, and Hardware Design for NIOS 2 on Altera FPGA And Testing as well

- Mtech/ Btech in electronics

- Design and implement digital systems using FPGAs

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

- Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.

- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues and provide timely solutions.

- Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify functionality.

- Stay current with industry trends and developments related to FPGAs.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve performance, reduce cost, and enhance functionality.

- Work collaboratively with other engineers to integrate hardware and software components.

- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve overall design quality.

THE EXPERTISE WE'RE LOOKING FOR :

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in FPGA development.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Strong understanding of RTL design and verification in SystemVerilog and/or VHDL.

- Demonstrated ability to bring up a fully working design composed of tightly coupled embedded processors and FPGAs.

- Experience with specifying constraints and techniques to achieve design and timing closure.

- Experience using 3rd-party IP for rapid development.

- Experience with hardware debugging tools such as internal and external logic analyzer, JTAG debugger, oscilloscope, signal generators, etc.

- Proficient in using Xilinx design tools such as Vivado, IP Catalog, Vitis and SDK.

- Experience with embedded software development (C/C++).

- Proficient with Git for version control and collaborative development.

- Experience with DSP algorithm analysis in Matlab or Python and implementation into FPGAs is highly desirable.

- Experience with Xilinx MPSoC or RFSoC technologies is a plus.

- Familiarity with RF circuitry and test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc. is a plus.

- Familiarity with multi-gigabit transceivers and high-speed communication protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, or USB is a plus.
