Are you passionate about logistics industry? Do you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive for Kolkata to drive growth and expand our presence in the 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of logistics operations, coupled with exceptional sales acumen and relationship-building skills. This role involves identifying prospective clients, fostering strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored logistics solutions to meet client needs.


Location-Kolkata (West Bengal)


Key Responsibilities:


1. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the 3PL sector, targeting potential clients across various industries.

2. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research.

3. Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their supply chain requirements, pain points, and goals.

4. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business partnerships.

5. Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

6. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to management.


Qualifications:


1. Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

2. Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry with 2+ years of experience

3. Strong understanding of 3PL services, including warehousing, transportation, distribution.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.

5. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive initiatives to fruition.

6. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
