Established in 1993, WOTR currently operates in eight states namely Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Karnataka and Rajasthan. Our head office is in Pune.

A Short description of the role:

WOTR is seeking a skilled and innovative Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives that showcase our work in rural India. You'll transform raw footage into polished, impactful videos that effectively communicate our mission and achievements.

What will you work on?

Edit and produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, website, and presentationsCollaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and visionManipulate and trim footage, ensuring smooth transitions and logical sequencingAdd graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects to enhance video qualityExperiment with AI-driven editing tools to improve efficiency and creativityCreate both short-form and long-form content tailored to different audiencesManage and organize video assets, maintaining a well-structured digital libraryOptimize videos for various platforms and devices

Who are you?

An experienced video editor with a proven track record of creating engaging contentProficient in multiple editing tools, including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, and Veed.ioTech-savvy and curious, with a keen interest in exploring AI applications in video editingExcellent storyteller with a strong eye for visual aesthetics and attention to detailFluent in English, with Hindi and/or Marathi language skills being an advantagePassionate about rural development and eager to contribute to WOTR's missionBachelor’s degree in film studies, Media Production, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of professional video editing experienceStrong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team and with external partners/vendorsWillingness to travel to rural areas for on-location shoots when required
