Role Description
This is a
full-time role for a Commissioning Engineer
responsible for the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of thermal systems, instrumentation, and controls.
The Commissioning Engineer will oversee the installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems at project sites. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing electrical testing, ensuring systems meet performance specifications, and conducting quality checks to maintain reliability and efficiency. The role also requires documenting test results, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring strict compliance with safety standards.
The position demands strong knowledge of piping layouts for instrument connections, hands-on experience in calibration and testing of field instruments, and a working understanding of PLC systems for automation and process control. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in calibration and troubleshooting of industrial instruments.
- Familiarity with P&IDs, isometrics, and piping standards.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and fieldbus communication protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a site-based environment.
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
