TOSCA - Senior Test Automation Analyst

Technical Competencies –
· Years of overall experience: 5 to 8.
· Minimum of 3 years of hands-on SAP Test Automation experience using TOSCA Test suite.
· Ability to work as an Individual contributor – gather automation requirements from BA’s and stakeholders (global) through effective communication, estimate automation effort, Automation planning, design automated scripts or run proof-of-concepts (as required), execute tests and report results to stakeholders timely.
· Strong hands-on knowledge of building and implementing automation for SAP (GUI and FIORI), Web, Desktop apps, Mobile and APIs using TOSCA.
· Ability to create and manage workspace in TOSCA, handle TOSCA components effectively and design automation framework from scratch.
· Capable for planning, designing, deploying, maintaining and troubleshoot scripts in TOSCA. Analyze and locate the exception layer where test scripts fail and fix the scripts.
· Experience of testing the following SAP modules preferred – SD, MM, FICO, PP, PM etc.
· Experience in automating S4HANA FIORI based application.
· Strong VB or C# scripting or related descriptive programming skills.
· Strong knowledge of Testing concepts, troubleshooting skills and Test life cycle (SDLC, STLC and Defect Life cycle – V&V).
· Core Skills -
o Strong knowledge of automation using TOSCA test suite.
o Ability to work with minimal hand holding or supervision.
o Test management and workflow in Solman 7.2, JIRA or ALM.
o Hands on experience with descriptive programming and custom function creation skills using VB or C# scripting.
o Good exposure to database schema/querying and application architectural insights.
o Strong at OOPS and programming concepts.
o Exposure to Agile Methodology.
o Flexible mindset - Quickly learn new technologies and deliver.
o Inclination towards technological innovation.
· Good to have –
o TOSCA Certification(s)
o Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM.
o Knowledge of MS SQL Server.
o Knowledge of CI/CD integration concepts.
o Knowledge of other SAP automation tools such as Solman CBTA and UFT.
o Knowledge of automation using other tools and technologies such as Selenium Webdriver etc.
