We are seeking a talented Senior Motion Graphics Designer and Animator with 5 years of experience to join our creative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about bringing concepts to life through motion design and animation. You will be responsible for creating high-quality motion graphics and animations for a range of projects including advertising campaigns, social media content and much more.
Responsibilities
Create visually appealing, dynamic, and high-quality animations and motion graphics for a variety of digital platforms (social media, websites etc)
Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and develop concepts for animation, ensuring they align with the overall campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
Collaborate in the pre-production process by creating storyboards, mood boards, and style frames to communicate your vision clearly to clients and internal teams.
Edit and refine animations during the post-production phase, incorporating feedback, adding sound design elements, and ensuring a polished final product.
Work closely with other designers, copywriters, marketing teams, and project managers to ensure the animation aligns with the broader creative and marketing strategies.
Ensure all animations adhere to the established brand identity and style guide, while also pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
Present animation concepts, storyboards, and final videos to clients and stakeholders, incorporating their feedback to fine-tune the designs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in motion design and animation to continuously improve the quality and creativity of the work produced.
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in motion graphics, animation, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and other motion design software.
Experience with 3D animation is a plus.
Solid understanding of animation principles, typography, composition, and color theory.
Strong portfolio showcasing high-level motion graphics and animation projects across various media (digital, social, video).
Ability to create compelling animations that align with brand messaging and marketing objectives.
Experience in storyboarding, pre-production, and post-production animation workflows.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, high-quality work on tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
Ability to mentor and lead junior designers, providing constructive feedback to help improve their skills.
A creative mindset with a passion for pushing the boundaries of design and animation.
