Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic plans to achieve department and organizational goals.Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategies with overall business objectives.Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Address and resolve complex issues, providing solutions that align with business goals.Oversee resource allocation, project management and process improvements.Display excellent leadership skills and manage internal/external expectations.Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, month end close and year end close processes, ensuring all financials are completed accurately on time.Manage multiple project deliverables and client engagements.Oversee and ensure quality standards of accounting transactions by the team.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.Manage team performance metrics and responsible for team performance.Collaborate with US Leaders, providing consistent people and client updates.Work towards continual talent development through trainings and coaching.Conduct and review financials for fair representation of client financial statements.
Requirements for Successful CandidateBachelor’s Degree in Accounting and MBA in Finance or CA certification.Managed team(s) having at least 25+ team members.Prior experience in a Delivery Management role for a US based firm.Knowledge of US accounting systems.Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office.Organizational skills to manage a big team and strategic client engagements.Self-motivated with strong work ethic.Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Leadership and team management skills.Possesses a combination of both problem-solving and innovation skills to attend to several technical production challenges.
