Your role
Are you passionate about building robust and scalable systems? Are you passionate about adding real value to the Asset Management Middle Office business by implementing sophisticated Guideline Monitoring applications? Do you want to help making sure our application and technical environments meet the requirements? Do you have a proven track record of working effectively within a global team?
We're looking for someone who can:
• help enable new capabilities for the asset management guideline monitoring platform, whilst also modernizing the platform
• work within a small, but global, application delivery team to develop new capabilities whilst ensuring adherence to enterprise application design standards as well as to the sdlc guidelines and policies.
• suggest and implement controls and processes to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of the systems, and reduce the level of it support overhead
Your team
You'll be based out of Pune, India working in the Core Trade & Cash Management Crew within UBS Asset Management. Your team is spread across London, Zürich, and Pune, and collectively you will work on a variety of projects in Guideline Monitoring.
Your expertise
• 8+ year experience working on development and support of enterprise software in a distributed environment within the financial services industry - preferably within the area of asset management
• strong experience in developing enterprise web applications.
• hands-on development experience using .net (c#), react, gitlab, ci/cd & api integration.
• database skills preferred - oracle, sql, plsql.
• knowledge of linux, scripting (powershell, batch) and scheduler tools like autosys would be an added advantage.
• knowledge of guideline monitoring vendor products (, fidessa sentinel) is a strong plus.
• knowledge of latest gui technologies - angular, python, etc. will also be a plus.
• knowledge on windows azure is an added advantage.
