Job Description

A Centre of Expertise located in Portugal, associated with a leading global financial group, is dedicated to revolutionizing the banking sector by developing innovative solutions for the business, operations, and work culture.

 

Part of the Global Financial Services division, the center leverages technology to foster financial expertise within its key business areas – Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management – and offers support to the various entities of the group.

 

Based in Porto, the center currently employs more than 2,400 staff members from over 30 nationalities across three primary departments: Information Technology, Banking Support Activities, and Compliance. Some of the expected responsibilities will be :

  • ·      Develop and implement Java-based applications, integrating web services/APIs using JAX-WS and REST/JSON.
  • ·      Construct dynamic and responsive user interfaces with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • ·      Manage object-relational mapping using JPA/Hibernate.
  • ·      Utilize Spring and Springboot frameworks to develop scalable applications.
  • ·      Design and maintain database schemas and queries for Oracle databases.
  • ·      Adhere to continuous integration practices using Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • ·      Analyze requirements and design solutions with a strong problem-solving approach.



Requirements

We are looking for a Developer (French Speaker) with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience developing in JAVA

 

Qualifications

 

  • Deep knowledge of Java eco-system:
  • Web sevices / API (JAX-WS, REST/JSON)
  • JPA / Hibernate
  • 2+ years of experience with AngularJS and/or Angular
  • JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS
  • Knowledge of frameworks Spring, Springboot
  • Understanding relational databases such as Oracle (SQL)
  • Experience with continuous integration principles and tools
  • Git, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory
  • Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Teamwork
  • French speaker - mandatory

Requirements
- Experience working as Cybersecurity engineer - Experience in vulnerability remediation - Knowledge of a vulnerability scanning solution such as Qualys - Good communication skills - Complete proficiency in English - Graduated with a master’s degree in IT or similar - Be a team player Nice to have: - Experience in using reporting solution like PowerBI - Knowledge of network, OS windows and/or Linux
