Industrial Decarbonization Practice (ID):

At the heart of India's ambitious 2070 net-zero commitment is the decarbonization of its industries, which are responsible for nearly 40% of the nation's total energy consumption. Recognizing the critical importance of this sector, the Government of India has introduced stringent regulations, such as CBAM and mandatory emissions reporting, aimed at accelerating the decarbonization process. This regulatory framework has placed industrial decarbonization at the centre of national environmental strategies.

In response to these growing demands, industries across the corporate and MSME sectors are taking proactive steps toward achieving net-zero carbon emissions. To support this national goal, our Industrial Decarbonization Practice is designed to assist industries in reducing their specific energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Our Industrial Decarbonization services include:

- Decarbonisation roadmaps for sectors and industry- Decarbonisation technology assessment- Energy and water audits- Energy management services- Institutional strengthening and capacity building- Carbon foot-printing and carbon neutrality

Renewable energy procurement assessment

As a leader of our ID practice, you will:

- Shape the Future: Lead complex energy transition initiatives across sectors and geographies.- Innovate: Develop innovative strategies for clients in their energy transition journey.- Collaborate: Work closely with private companies, government bodies, and stakeholders to foster meaningful partnerships and drive industry-leading projects.- Deliver Results: Ensure on-time, high-quality project execution while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.- Inspire: Guide cross-functional teams and inspire innovative approaches to energy challenges.- Lead with Thought Leadership: Position the organization as a thought leader by sharing insights, shaping industry trends, and contributing to discussions on energy transition.- Own It: Take full P&L responsibility for the practice, managing budgets and resources to achieve business goals.

What You Bring to the Table:

- Deep Sector Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of India’s industry and MSME sectors.- Technical Expertise: Expertise in green hydrogen, CCUS, CHP, and technology assessment in ‘hard to abate’ sectors.- Industry connect: Should have established connections with industry houses and associations.- Leadership: Proven ability to build and lead teams- Project Management: Manage complex projects within the allocated resource budget.- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Communication Skills: A natural ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships with clients and partners.- Innovation: A keen sense of emerging energy trends and technologies, always pushing for new ideas and approaches.

Qualifications:

- Educational Requirement: Minimum Master's degree (M.Tech / MBA / MMS)- Experience: At least 20 years of professional experience. Experience in Management Consulting would be an added advantage
