Job Title: Service Now CMDB DeveloperLocation: Pune, Bengaluru, CoimbatoreExperience Level: 5 Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Now CMDB Developer to join our ITSM team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CMDB architecture, data modeling, and integration strategies within the Service Now platform. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and usability of configuration data across the enterprise. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain CMDB structures and workflows in Service NowImplement and optimize IRE (Identification and Reconciliation Engine) and ETL mappings for data ingestionAlign CMDB architecture with the CSDM (Common Service Data Model) frameworkConfigure and enhance CMDB Workspace for improved visibility and usabilityDevelop intuitive UI components and workflows to support CMDB operationsApply de-duplication and normalization strategies to maintain data qualityEstablish and manage data certification processes to ensure ongoing accuracyPerform root cause analysis and resolve issues related to CMDB performance and data integrityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support ITSM, ITOM, and asset management initiatives. Required Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Service Now CMDB and related modulesDeep understanding of CMDB core concepts, CSDM, and data modelingProficiency in Java Script, Service Now scripting, and UI policy developmentExperience with ETL tools, data integration, and reconciliation processesFamiliarity with Service Now Discovery, Event Management, and Integration HubExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysisStrong communication and documentation abilities
