Embark on a transformative career as a Guidewire Cloud Platform Software Engineer, where you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing how business leverage cloud technologies. We are seeking talented individuals to join our innovative team, where your expertise will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing robust cloud solutions.

Guidewire provides outstanding software for the second-largest financial services industry in the world: insurance. We deliver the core applications that Property and Casualty (P/C) insurers use to build their products, sell policies, settle claims, and bill their customers. We deliver SaaS solutions via Guidewire Cloud that enable our customers to rapidly innovate and drive measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and Develop Hybrid Tenancy Solutions: Architect and implement a hybrid tenancy model that supports both multi-tenant and single-tenant configurations.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform and Golang to define, build, and manage cloud infrastructure.

- Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.

- Platform Observability: Implement and manage logging, metrics, and tracing to ensure platform observability.

- Developer Experience: Enhance developer productivity and experience by developing authentication, authorization, and other platform services using Java and Spring Boot.

- Quality Assurance: Employ Test Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure high-quality, reliable code.

- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Automate deployment processes to AWS.

- Collaborative Agile Environment: Work closely with a team of skilled engineers in an agile, collaborative environment.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong Programming Skills: Expertise in one or more of the following languages and frameworks: Java, Golang, Python.

- Container Technologies: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in a cloud ecosystem.

- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform and Ansible for configuration management

- Cloud Platforms: Deep knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.

- Agile Mindset: Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.

- Educational Background: BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.

- Experience: 11+ years in a SaaS/PaaS environment for large-scale enterprises.
