Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Middleware & Ctrl-M L3 Support Engineer to join our infrastructure operations team. This role involves providing advanced technical support for middleware platforms and job scheduling systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 support for Middleware platforms including IBM WebSphere MQ, RabbitMQ, NGINX, and scripting tools (Shell, Python).
  • Manage and troubleshoot Ctrl-M job scheduling workflows and integrations.
  • Handle escalations from L1 and L2 support teams, ensuring timely resolution of complex issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Database, Performance Engineering) to deliver robust solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize infrastructure across servers, cloud platforms, and virtual environments.
  • Participate in change management processes including CAB meetings and runbook creation.
  • Monitor system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Support 24x7 operations and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Document technical procedures and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Middleware technologies: WebLogic, WebSphere ND, IBM Liberty, Apache, Tomcat, NGINX.
  • Proficiency in Ctrl-M job scheduling tool.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and basic SQL/database operations.
  • Familiarity with network concepts including firewalls, load balancers, and connectivity.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to ITIL processes and service management tools.
  • Certification in Middleware technologies or job scheduling tools is a plus.
