About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Coding Trainer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in training batches across various specialties and possess excellent communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for professionals who thrive in a structured and collaborative environment.

Specialties Required:

We are hiring trainers with experience in one or more of the following specialties:

  • IPDRG (Inpatient Diagnosis Related Groups)
  • E/M (Evaluation and Management)
  • ED (Emergency Department)
  • Radiology
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Anesthesia
  • Medicine
  • Home Health Coding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for batches of medical coders.
  • Develop and update training materials aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training quality and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in medical coding and training.
  • Proven track record of handling batches independently.
  • Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is preferred.
