Lead business analyst – summit

Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Pune Experience: 10–15 years Engagement: Full-time, Long-term project (3+ years) Domain: Capital Markets – Rates, Money Markets, Credit & Derivatives Must Have: SUMMIT Platform experience About the Role Yotta Consultancy is seeking an experienced Summit Business Analyst (BA) with strong Front-to-Back Capital Markets knowledge to join our client’s technology and business transformation team. The successful candidate will play a key functional role in maintaining and enhancing the Summit platform, supporting trading desks across Rates, Money Markets, Credit, and Derivatives, while also partially contributing to a strategic Murex migration program. This is a functional business-facing role ideal for professionals with extensive Capital Markets experience who can bridge business and technology. Key Responsibilities ● Act as the Lead Business Analyst for Summit platform initiatives — supporting Front, Middle, and Back Office functions. ● Work closely with Traders, Sales, Risk, and Operations to elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements. ● Oversee Summit Release Management, testing, and environment coordination. ● Provide functional expertise on trade life cycle management, including trade capture, validation, confirmation, and settlement workflows. ● Partner with technology teams to design and implement solutions aligned with business priorities. ● Contribute to and partially support the strategic Murex migration program, ensuring smooth transition of rates and derivatives workflows. ● Support Regulatory and Risk initiatives impacting trade processing (e.g., EMIR, Bilateral Margining, Ring Fencing). ● Lead or contribute to pre-sales, client workshops, and user training sessions. ● Coordinate with global teams (Paris, London, Singapore, India) to ensure consistent project delivery and on-site/offshore collaboration. ● Manage small teams of Business Analysts and guide them through business and project processes. Required Skills & Experience ● 10–15 years of total experience, with extensive exposure to Capital Markets (Front to Back). ● Minimum 7 years of Summit functional experience in consulting, BA, or release management roles. ● Strong understanding of trade life cycle — from trade booking, validation, and confirmation to settlement and accounting. ● Functional expertise in Derivatives (Rates, Credit, FX, MM) and related asset classes. ● Proven experience in Summit full cycle implementation, upgrades, and integration projects. ● Exposure to Operations workflows, Regulatory Reporting, and Risk management processes. ● Experience coordinating with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, and Finance teams. ● Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. ● Ability to liaise between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear requirement translation. ● Knowledge of Murex and/or experience in Murex migration programs is a strong plus. ● Familiarity with SDLC / Agile methodologies. Desirable Experience ● Hands-on background in Derivatives Operations, Middle Office, or Trading Assistant roles before moving into Business Analysis. ● Exposure to Orches Trade, Murex, Calypso, or other trading platforms. ● Experience leading multi-site teams and coordinating between client and offshore development centers.
