We are looking for a Software Engineer (Backend) with 1-2 years of experience in backend technologies preferably Golang, Django or NodeJS. You will work with a team of problem solvers working collaboratively to build custom solutions for Appointy’s enterprise clients. What will you do
Participate in team discussions to understand the features, user stories and tasks assigned to build the product by writing efficient and clean code.
Pick up engineering challenges in the organization and develop core expertise across multiple domains.
Participate in code reviews under the mentorship of senior engineers to develop and improve your software development skills.
Work closely with your team members and Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
Collaborate with the QA teams to resolve backend issues and bugs.
Engage in continuous learning and application of new backend technologies and frameworks under the guidance of experienced team members.
What you bring in:
Experience with backend programming languages like Golang Django or NodeJS SpringBoot etc.
Familiarity with technologies like Protobuf, gRPC, RESTful APIs.
Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Some experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL database concepts.
The ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean code.
Basic understanding of Agile working methodology and tools like Git, JIRA.
Eagerness to learn and continuously improve.
