We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive / HR Manager to lead payroll processing and statutory compliance using Spine PayPack software. The ideal candidate will also support key HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, training, and compliance with labour laws and factory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compliance
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing through Spine PayPack.
- Administer employee compensation and benefits in line with legal and company requirements.
- Maintain accurate attendance, leave, and salary records.
- Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, MLWF, etc.
- File timely returns and coordinate inspections by relevant government bodies.
- Stay updated with changes in labour laws to ensure full legal compliance.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Handle the entire recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offer letters, and onboarding.
- Conduct background verification and police verification of employees.
- Coordinate and conduct induction and orientation programs for new hires.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address grievances and foster a positive work environment.
- Maintain personal files and employee databases, ensuring up-to-date documentation.
- Assist in drafting job descriptions and implementing the Performance Management System (PMS).
- Organize employee training and development programs by coordinating with external trainers.
Factory & Labour Law Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws including Factories Act, BMC Permits (390, 394), MPCB, Shops & Establishment Act.
- Coordinate formation and management of committees: POSH, Safety, Canteen, Environment, Grievance, etc.
- Oversee safety audits and employee medical checkups (Form 7).
Reporting & Documentation
- Generate and analyze monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain and update HR records and statutory registers as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; MBA in Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in HR, payroll, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Spine PayPack, MS Excel, and other HR tools.
- Strong understanding of labour laws, statutory returns, and payroll tax regulations.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing/factory setup is a strong advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹800, ₹1,000,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kalachowki, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
