SatSure is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer interested in the deployment, management, and monitoring of cloud-based applications and services. You will work closely with development teams to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of applications and services, these services need to scale to millions of daily transactions with 99.99% uptime while allowing continuous and rapid deployments across new business lines.

Roles and Responsibilities
Engineering Planning & Design
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and ensure that cloud-based applications and services are deployed in a consistent and reliable manner.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure for applications and services using cloud computing platforms (AWS).
- Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and security assessments to ensure the robustness and resilience of cloud infrastructure
Engineering Development
- Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor cloud-based services to ensure optimal performance, availability, scalability, and security. Implement corrective measures as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployment processes in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
Team Development
- Maintain knowledge of emerging cloud technologies and trends and incorporate them into the organization's cloud strategy to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness.
- Act as a subject matter expert for cloud computing, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed.
- Defining career paths for team members and helping them grow with regular coaching and mentoring.
Must-have:
- 5 - 8 years of working experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS. Experience of AWS services like EC2, ECS, S3, ELB, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudFront, ECR, Lambda, RDS.
- Scripting experience with Python.
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Experience with Grafana/Prometheus.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and data management concepts in cloud environments.
Minimum qualification:
- Candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT
