Job Title: Senior Accountant


Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for our parent company (B-One Business House Pvt. ltd)to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing guidance and support to junior accountants.


Key Responsibilities:


- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management

- Ensure compliance with GST, tax laws, and other financial regulations

- Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff

- Develop and implement financial processes and procedures

- Collaborate with external auditors and other stakeholders

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement

- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting


Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.)

- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance

- Strong knowledge of GST, tax laws, and financial regulations

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in accounting software and systems (e.g., TALLY, SAP, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:


- Master's degree in Accounting or related field

- Experience in a senior accounting role

- Certification in a specialized area of accounting (e.g., forensic accounting, etc.)

- Experience with financial planning and analysis

Responsibilities

  • Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
  • Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
  • Research and analyze expense variances for company management


Qualifications

  • 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
  • CPA preferred
