Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Developer with 8+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in building serverless backends, developing REST APIs, and working with AWS/Azure services. Additionally, proficiency in database management, including PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch for aggregation purposes, is essential.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Senior UX Designer, you will have extensive client interaction and will serve as the voice of the user while accommodating customer needs and technical requirements from Engineering. You would also be required to work in a flexible, team-oriented culture that’s truly Agile. We are looking for freethinkers who are able to discover, understand, and communicate the business requirements of our clients, the emotional desires of their customers, and the context in which these two come together.
Role-specific Requirements
• Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and conduct user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modelling, information architecture design, wireframes, and usability testing.
• Design and specify user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirement discovery wherever required.
• Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications.
• Designing and executing a primary research framework to validate User experience and derive Consumer Insights
• Selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques to design qualitative and quantitative research plans
• Apply strategic design thinking to real-world problems.
• Participate in training, internal initiatives, blogging, Meetups, speaking at conferences.
• Mentor fresh designers with industry norms, design thinking and client interactions
• Take ownership of multiple company initiatives, work with team members to accomplish Initiative goals.
Qualifications and Skills
• A very strong background of user experience design. In addition, a strong knowledge of UX processes and methodologies.
• Strong project and people management skills and an ability to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor.
• Passion for creating products that resonate emotionally with people.
• A sharp eye for detail and highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Facilitating design ideation, prototyping, and usability test efforts.
• Knowledge on Designing for Rich Internet Applications, Design for Hand-Held Devices, Responsive Web Design, and Accessibility
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision
• Excellent knowledge of Design System, Style guides, Design documentation etc.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
Preferably Bachelors degree (B. Des.)/Masters degree (M. Des.) in Human-Computer Interaction or a related design discipline from reputed design schools such as IIT, NID, etc. Design practitioners who can demonstrate good understanding and hands-on experience in the design process will also be considered.
