Job Description:Dailyhunt is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Product Designer with at least 2 years ofexperience to join our dynamic and innovative design team. As a Junior Product Designer atDailyhunt, you will play a pivotal role in creating user-centric and visually appealing digitalexperiences that cater to our diverse user base. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams todesign and deliver engaging solutions that meet our users' needs.

Responsibilities:● User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather insights toinform the design process. Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitiveand effective design solutions.● UI/UX Design: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectivelycommunicate design concepts. Craft user interfaces that are visually appealing anduser-friendly while adhering to Dailyhunt's brand guidelines.● Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and otherstakeholders to understand project goals and constraints. Work collaboratively to iterate ondesigns based on feedback and user testing results.● Design System Adherence: Ensure consistency and maintainability by followingestablished design systems and guidelines. Contribute to the evolution and improvement ofthese systems.● Design Handoff: Prepare design assets and documentation for developers, ensuring thatthe final implementation aligns with the intended design.● Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, andemerging technologies. Share knowledge and insights with the design team to foster aculture of growth and innovation.

Qualifications:● Proficiency in Figma● Experience with ProtoPie is a bonus● A bachelor's degree or Experience in design or a related field.● A portfolio showcasing previous work and projects that demonstrate your skills in UI/UXdesign.● Minimum of 2 years of experience in product design, preferably in a tech-driven environment.● Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to apply themeffectively.● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify designdecisions.● Knowledge of mobile design principles and responsive web design.● Basic understanding of front-end development technologies is a plus.● Passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a drive for innovation.
