SAP TMS Staff Business Analyst

Seeking a highly motivated and team oriented SAP TMS expert to join our GIS System Analyst Functional and Process group. The candidate must have a strong understanding of SAP Transportation Management (TMS) and having a strong integration knowledge with other components such as SCT Software for Parcel Carriers, ECC (ERP), EWM, WM, EHS and GTS used in End to End Supply Chain process. The candidate should have at least 8+ years of experience working in an IT organization preferably Biotech, Life Sciences, or related industry in configuring, deploying and managing SAP TMS with integration

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Be seen asa SAP TMS expert and able to advise on standard SAP solution design and configuration for specific SAP modules and the impact of the changes on solutions and/or business process
• Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Solution Design Leads and Value Stream Leads process design recommendations, defining end to end processes and issue resolutions
• Identify and implement business process improvements.
• Collaborate with the global customer solutions and GIS team to evaluate support requests.
• Gather and analyze requirements to determine best solution and implements best practices.
• Provide routine updates to the global team regarding upcoming enhancements, bug fixes, and improvements to the business system to support regulatory audits, efficiency improvements, and additional functionality.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams to develop improved processes and communication in support of business initiatives
• Escalate appropriate decisions making requirements or process "choice points" to Global Process Owner and GIS Leads
• Ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and experiences
• Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes particularly under tight timelines
• Open to new ways of working, adopting industry standards and best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience
• 6 -8 years of SAP TMS experience preferred
• Experience functional lead with demonstrated capability to work cross teams
• Around 8 to 10 years of professional experience in SAP supply chain management systems and processes
• Experience in implementation of SAP TMS with various deployment options preferably EWM on S/4 HANA.
• Strong exposure of SAP TMS, SCT Software Carrier Integration, TMS Integration with SAP EWM, SAP GTS, SAP EHS modules
• Experience in creation of Transportation Management specific Master Data i.e. Routes, Transportation network, Mode, Freight Agreement, Rate Table, Trade Compliance Check etc. Must have soundknowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP TMS. Along with a strong expertise in setting up the system integration between SAP TMS with SAP EWM, ECC, GTS on S/4 HANA
• Proficient experience in interface development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services)
• Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation
• Knowledge about system enhancements and configuration with IT leadership experience with SAP TMS projects

Education

• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
• Field of Study in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Strong influencing, facilitating and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments

Experience/Education:

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 6 years and a Masters degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
