The GET OSP Drafter produces Outside Plant (OSP) CAD work plans, and associated work package documents in coordination with other engineering department personnel. GET - OSP Drafter drafts buried, aerial and underground cable systems and OSP supporting structures.Responsibilities:

Produce detailed Outside Plant (OSP) CAD work plans for telecommunications infrastructure projects.
Draft designs for buried, aerial, and underground cable systems.
Develop plans for OSP supporting structures such as poles, conduits, and manholes.
Generate associated work package documents, including bill of materials (BOM), splicing details, and other necessary project documentation.
Collaborate closely with other engineering department personnel, including OSP Engineers and Project Managers, to ensure design accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all drafting work adheres to company standards, industry specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Review and verify existing OSP records and field survey data to inform new designs.
Make revisions to existing drawings based on redlines, field changes, or updated requirements.
Assist in maintaining and organizing OSP drawing archives and databases.
Learn and apply new drafting techniques, software features, and OSP engineering principles.
