Platform Architect

to join our team full-time in India.We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.About the role:As a Platform Architect, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Join a leading global technology center dedicated to providing specialized services and driving innovation in the banking industry. As a Platform Architect, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing our technology strategy, delivering high-quality technology platforms, and overseeing the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions. You will lead a diverse team of technologists and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring successful project implementation across the organization.

Responsibilities

Support IT business projects and transformation programs by delivering new IT services, leveraging cloud and infrastructure technologies, and migrating applications to IaaS/PaaS platforms on public and private cloudInvestigate and adopt new infrastructure technologies to meet evolving business requirementsDevelop technical strategies that underpin the Future State ArchitectureOptimize the portfolio of infrastructure services for operational improvement and cost efficienciesDevelop and review Infrastructure Architecture Designs and drive the implementationDrive transformation programs for greater utilization and lowering operational costs, while phasing out non-strategic technology platformsManage relationships with IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure Delivery, and Application Development teams to ensure alignment and collaborationDeliver comprehensive technical infrastructure designs that meet Non-Functional RequirementsAssess the impact on interconnected services and systems, validate deployment and support models, and offer technical counsel for system components

Requirements

Cloud Technologies: Working knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS, GCP, and AzureContainer Technologies: Working knowledge of container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)Database Management: Knowledgeable in databases including Oracle RAC, PostgreSQL, and MongoDBProgramming Languages: Familiar with Java/Java GUI, XML/XSLT, HTML/JavaScript, and Infrastructure as CodeTechnical Passion: Stay abreast of developments in the DevOps PaaS/IaaS landscape and proactively incorporate innovations to yield tangible benefitsTechnical Governance: Experience providing technical governance over products using frameworks such as the Technical Reference Model (TRM)Business Effectiveness: Proven track record of implementing significant changes that enhance business effectiveness sustainably
