Marketing & Sales Operations Analyst

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and metrics- obsessed, leveraging technology to track critical KPIs and provide insight to the executive team. The Marketing & Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for strategy, best practices, and ongoing use of CRM, marketing automation, and BI tools. Must work closely with the marketing campaign team, SDRs, Account Executives, and Executive team to understand their needs and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detailed oriented, metrics obsessed and wants to leverage technology to enable scalable processes and track critical KPIs to provide insight and guidance to the executive team.
Responsibilities
The Sales & Marketing Operations Manager will manage the strategy, best practices, and ongoing use of CRM, marketing automation, and BI tools. Must collaborate with the marketing campaign team, SDRs, Account Executives, and Executive team to ensure campaign tracking is properly set up for all channels. Must monitor operational processes and metrics to identify issues early and work with appropriate groups to resolve them.
The individual is responsible for managing the sales and marketing technology stack, recommending software, implementing best practices, creating reports, analyzing trends, and implementing changes to improve future performance, as well as managing and executing marketing campaigns.
The role involves maintaining a high-quality prospect and customer database, managing online demand generation programs, creating data segmentation filters, and nurturing programs to minimize lead fatigue. The role also involves conducting discovery sessions, gathering and analyzing business requirements, and performing data mining to identify trends and issues in the data, such as campaign effectiveness and consumer segmentation.
The role involves conducting analyses to understand business performance, identifying data elements and sources, understanding data complexities, and working efficiently with data owners. It involves advanced analytics to build predictive models and manage data pulls for marketing campaigns, including direct mail and email campaigns.
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree (or equivalent) with preferred concentration in Marketing, Business, or similar field.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience in CRM and Marketing Systems – Salesforce / Microsoft Dynamics experience required along with related data management/data cleansing tools. Conduct regular process reviews to ensure alignment with departmental needs and goals. Have 5 years of experience serving as an Operations Analyst. Proven expertise in business operations with a focus on marketing and sales processes. 2 years of experience with Business Intelligence report development tools. A background in the IT industry and a strong understanding of sales and marketing best practices including campaign execution, Q&A testing and conversion measurement.
The candidate is a skilled analytical professional with experience in data analysis tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms. Must Excel in process improvement, workflow, benchmarking, and evaluation of business processes. Should be a strategic thinker, capable of operating efficient business processes, and possess strong project management skills. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized, and are committed to maintaining confidentiality and integrity. Must excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Proficiency :
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with analytics (Excel, SAS, SQL) and data visualization software (Tableau or DOMO)
Experience with Google Analytics, AdWords, Salesloft, Hubspot, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Drupal or WordPress and/or skills in HTML a plus
Must be proficient in using MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
