Lead generation: Generate leads and pursue new clients through various activities, including attending trade shows and utilizing online platforms like LinkedIn. Proposal and bid management: Prepare accurate and detailed customer proposals, bids, and change orders, and ensure they are submitted on time. Product knowledge: Understand the technical aspects of construction projects and become familiar with architectural specifications to effectively present products or services. Sales process management: Guide clients through the sales process, which can include inspecting projects, scoping needs, and providing quotes. Administrative tasks: Maintain accurate customer and sales records, often using a CRM system, and complete sales reports. Essential skills and qualifications Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong sales acumen and a proven track record of meeting sales targets. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Proficiency in computer skills and CRM systems. A valid driver's license. Knowledge of the construction industry, including technical aspects, products, and market trends.
