Role Overview

Were looking for a highly organized and curious People Operations Specialist to provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to our VP for EMEA. Youll play a key role supporting staffing and EOR operations across multiple European countries, helping us maintain smooth workflows, deliver excellent client and worker experiences, and ensure compliance. This role is a great fit for someone who is eager to learn and grow, has a solid foundation in operations or HR, and enjoys working with documentation, data, and international workflows. Youll get hands-on exposure to how cross-border employment operates and work closely with our regional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative & Operational: Support Manage calendars, documentation, task lists, and email follow-ups related to EMEA operations. Organize files, update trackers, and maintain structured internal records.
  • Legal & Compliance Research: Conduct first-level research on employment law, corporate compliance, and payroll rules in various EMEA countries. Track regulatory updates and flag risks or questions for senior review.
  • Onboarding & Off-boarding Support: Help draft and issue employment contracts, onboarding documents, and exit letters. Track new hire paperwork and ensure compliance with local labor rules.
  • Client & Employee Support: Respond to standard employee or client questions (e.g., contract documents, onboarding timelines). Escalate complex queries to the VP or relevant country teams.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain and audit Excel/Google Sheets for timesheets, contracts, and compliance documentation. Generate internal reports and help compile data for internal reviews or audits.
  • Projects & Process Improvements: Support small projects, such as improving onboarding checklists or building country compliance guides. Track progress and help prepare summary decks or updates.

What Were Looking For

Education: Bachelors degree in, HR, Law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience: 1–4 years in an HR, startups, operations, administrative, or support roles. Experience in international staffing, EOR, or working across EMEA markets is a strong plus.

Skills:

  • Exceptional written, comprehension and verbal communication in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, data validation, formulas).
  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Strong research skills, especially in HR, legal, or compliance-related topics.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously and adapting to shifting demands.
