Job Summary:

SHEMROCK Group of Schools, a leading name in the educational sector, is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content for a variety of channels including our website, social media, and marketing materials. The role requires a strong understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to write for a diverse social media landscape. Fresh graduates with a flair for writing and a passion for education are encouraged to apply.

Location: Shemrock Schools Corporate Office Sector-9, Rohini, Delhi (Near Rohini West Metro Station)

Key Responsibilities:

- Write clear, attractive, and error-free content that reflects our school's voice and educational philosophy.- Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print.- Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines.- Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content.- Communicate and cooperate with a writing team, including a content manager, editors, and web publishers.- Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials.- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs.- Use SEO strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of our website in search results.- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.- Promote content on social media.- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).- Update website content as needed.

Qualifications:

- Excellent writing and editing skills in English.- Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences.- An understanding of SEO best practices.- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).- A keen eye for detail and the ability to proofread effectively.- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite & ChatGPT- Social media savvy.

Experience:

- Prior experience in content writing, educational writing, or copywriting is a plus.- Fresh graduates with demonstrable writing skills are welcome to apply.

Skills:

- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.- Should be able to use prompts in AI Tools
