You’ll make a difference by:

Support the delivery of electrical integration outputs,in compliance with the technical train specification, quality, cost, and deliverycommitments. Take over work packages from a senior engineer related toelectrical equipment in a metro-train. Ensure an efficient interface & alignment withinternal / external stakeholders such as engineering, sourcing, manufacturing,quality. Responsible to analyze and evaluate the customerspecifications, standards, and regulations. Collaborate with other functional groups to managerequirements and provide inputs for interfacing with electrical and mechanicalgroups. Contribute to the train physical architecture in her/hisgeographic area considering the below listed areas of work. Layout ofcomponents for roof (e.g. HV-equipment), Underfloor & CAB E-equipment’s. Mountingdefinitions for electrical equipment including interface clarification. ElectricalCubicle design. Cabletrays/Cable ducts design and its mounting definition. Routing ofcables and wires with Creo 9.0 using Creo Cabling based on concept diagrams, schematics,and connection lists. Bundling/Segregationof cables and wires based on the EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)classification. Design ofJumper cables and Earthing /Grounding. Creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for parts, assemblies,and installations. Creation of bills of materials.

Your success is grounded in:

Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in ElectricalIntegration, Installation and Cabling in the Rolling Stock industry; Experiencein the metro sector will be an added advantage. Knowledge in manufacturing processes and joiningtechniques (e.g., welding, screwing, riveting, bonding, surface treatment) andexperience in component design concerning strength and weight. Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a relatedfield. Basic electrical technical knowledge. Excellent Creo and Creo Cabling Skills. Knowhow and use of PDM link & SAP or willingness toquickly learn new tools. Experience in Harness Design will be added advantage. Experience in creation of test procedures and supervisingof type tests for electrical components will be added advantage. Experience in creation of Maintenance and OperatingManuals will be added advantage. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,for effective coordination and reporting. (English). Strong team player and active communicator with otherteam members and interface partners. High level of responsibility and self-reliance incompleting all tasks required. Working in a structured, goal-oriented, andresults-driven manner. Experience in working in an international &multicultural environment within a matrix organization structure. Ready to travel locally and internationally as and whenrequired by projects.
