Job Summary: The accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in the advertising or creative industries.


Key Responsibilities:

·        Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

·        Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

·        Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and financial records.

·        Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal policies.

·        Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support financial planning.

·        Process payroll and manage employee expense reports.

·        Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.

·        Assist in the development and implementation of internal financial controls and procedures.

·        Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

·        Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audits and internal reviews.

·        Assist with special projects and financial analysis as required.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        CPA or CMA certification preferred.

·        Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the advertising, marketing, or creative industries.

·        Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, especially Excel.

·        Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

·        Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

·        High attention to detail and accuracy.

·        Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Familiarity with project accounting and revenue recognition principles is a plus.
