Job Description Job Title: PGT English Teacher Location: Maval Lonavala Job Type: Full-time Salary range - 35K to 45K Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to senior secondary students, fostering a love for literature and language, and preparing students for their examinations. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards. Instruction: Teach English literature, language, and composition skills to students in grades (specify grades). Assessment: Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, projects, and exams; provide constructive feedback. Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Support and Guidance: Provide academic support and guidance to students, addressing their learning needs. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to school-wide initiatives. Professional Development: Stay updated on teaching methodologies, educational technology, and literature trends; participate in professional development opportunities. Communication: Maintain open communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in English or related field; B.Ed. preferred. Experience: Prior teaching experience in English at the secondary level is highly desirable. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in educational technology. Certifications: Valid teaching certification as per local regulations.
