LiverPerson’s VoiceBot is a product offering that provides real-time voice conversations between bots and consumers. It is powered by LivePerson’s VoiceCore Platform, which is a suite of microservices.You will be working as Software Development Engineer III for LivePerson’s Voice Team to deliver Voice Automations and Voice applications for our brands to resolve common customer interactions and issues. You will have a track record of leading successful software engineering teams.In this role you will:Lead a team of software development engineersDesigning and developing high-volume, low-latency, enterprise scale applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performanceDesign complex high performance backend services using JavaDesign complex solution for Voice based applicationsDevelopment of technical specifications and documentationDebug production issues and help maintain existing codeParticipate in on-call rotationsYou should be an expert in:8+ years of experience building successful large scale production software systems1- 2 years of experience in leading software engineering teams following agile methods as tech lead or manager - MUST5+ years of experience in Java programming - MUST2+ years of experience integrating with third-party APIs - MUST3+ years Experience debugging/testing distributed microservice applications - MUST3+ year of experience with technologies such as Kafka, Redis and NoSql - MUST3+ years of Experience building RESTful microservices - MUSTExperience building voice applications is a plus3+ years of experience in Kubernetes (cluster, load balancer), Google KubernetesExperience in Cloud Computing Technologies like GCP, AWS is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldBenefits:Health: Medical, Dental, and VisionTime away: Vacation and holidaysDevelopment: Generous tuition reimbursement and access to internal professional development resources.Equal opportunity employerWhy You’ll Love Working HereAs leaders in enterprise customer conversations, we celebrate diversity, empowering our team to forge impactful conversations globally.
