Chennai (Hybrid)About the Role:The successful Senior Level Mobile/React Native Developer will join our existing Development Team and play an integral role in the expansion of our business. You will be a natural leader that enjoys mentoring/training junior developers, be comfortable taking the lead and making decisions, be a natural, creative thinker, and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Responsibilities:Take ownership of technical architecture, coding, and development standardsProduce high quality, re-usable code, and ensure best practices are followed by the team you leadCreate new and enhance existing features and code according to requirementsTake the lead in Sprint Planning and Retrospective sessionsWork closely with the product management team to produce accurate estimates and clarificationEnsure the production of design artifacts, as well as the creation of accurate documentation.Required Experience:At least 3 - 5 years experience deploying React Native development (android/iOS)Knowledge of patterns applied in mobile programming (MVC, MVVM, delegation, etc.)Experience using REST APIs in android/iOS applicationKnowledge of common debug and optimization techniques in mobile programmingKnowledge of common usability principles related to mobile programmingExperience working in Agile/Remote teamsExcellent communication skillsBonus skills (But not a deal breaker)Experience deploying apps in a multi-tenant way, as that makes deployment & rollout trickier (e.g. Different graphics/assets etc.)About OvyoOvyo works globally with companies in the TV & Media industries including some of the top household brands.
