Senior Digital IC Design Engineer (BMS) Job Description PI Semi is founded by a team of industry veterans with a successful track record designing and marketing quality analog and mixed signal ICs, a market enjoying $60 B in its annual turnover worldwide. Our core IPs and products support such applications as highspeed optical communications, RF bias for 5 G infrastructure, medical devices and systems, BMS, industrial control, and automotive ADAS systems and so on. To serve these markets, we are building a portfolio of precision analog IPs that enable high resolution ADCs, precision DACs, voltage references, high voltage drivers and many other products. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen, with design centers being staffed in Shanghai and Bangalore, India. At this time, we are beginning to build the next generation BMS products, and we are looking for experience Digital IC designers, who can work in our fast-growing dynamic startup and be a part of our success. Responsibilities : ● Develop the Digital Design architecture based on product definition ● Digital RTL design using Verilog and/or Systemverilog. ● Implement the Functional Safety blocks to meet the ASIL requirements ● Interaction with Analog Designers and Product definers to understand the design and interface requirements. ● Support Verification at block level & Chip level design ● Perform Synthesis & Static Timing analysis ● Support the DFT and APR activities Qualifications : ● Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field. ● Experience in designing SPI/UART/I2 C interfaces, Digital Filters ● Minimum 8-year experience in Digital IC Design ● Understanding of Functional Safety would be a plus ● Full understanding of RTL to GDS flow ● Experience in FPGA emulation is a plus ● Knowledge of silicon debug ● Competence in a high-level language such as C/C++ and scripting languages like Python/TCL/Perl.
