You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing complex ServiceNow applications that enhance operational excellence and employee experience across the enterprise.This role is ideal for a certified ServiceNow developer with deep expertise in Service Portal, UI/UX design, and agile methodologies.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow Portal experiences for end users, balancing performance, accessibility, and platform best practices.- Develop, test, and deploy innovative software solutions using ServiceNow technologies, including Employee Center Pro.- Collaborate with product teams, architects, and engineering leads to ensure cross-platform alignment and technical excellence.- Provide Tier 3 engineering support, ensuring platform health, stability, and supportability.- Act as a peer group leader, ensuring team delivery aligns with platform standards and processes.- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and inquiries.- Drive UI/UX decisions that meet business requirements and accessibility standards.- Understand the implications of design decisions across interconnected systems.Basic Qualifications- Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering or development, with at least 5 years on the ServiceNow platform.- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Portal technologies, including Employee Center Pro.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, REST, XML, HTML, and CSS.- Deep understanding of ITIL v3 or later and ITSM best practices.- Demonstrated experience leading small teams and delivering business outcomes.- Strong communication, writing, and executive presentation skills.- Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe, ICP-ACC).Preferred Qualifications- Experience with multiple platforms and integrations.- Advanced certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified Systems Administrator, Certified Application Developer).- Additional training in agile, product management, or software engineering.
