Job Title: Shopify Developer Experience: 3+ Years Location: Remote Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Shopify Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Shopify development along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores Develop custom Shopify themes and modify existing themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Build and integrate custom apps, third-party apps, and APIs Optimize store performance, usability, and responsiveness across devices Implement SEO best practices and improve site speed and conversions Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently Collaborate with designers, product managers, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions Provide clear technical documentation and regular status updates Technical Skills Required: 3+ years of experience in Shopify / Shopify Plus development Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and custom app development Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations (payment gateways, shipping, ERP, CRM, etc.) Experience with version control systems (Git) Understanding of eCommerce best practices, performance optimization, and security standards Communication & Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong ability to understand business requirements and explain technical concepts clearly Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Nice to Have: Experience with Shopify Plus and headless commerce Familiarity with React, Vue, or Hydrogen Experience working with global clients or distributed teams
