Job Role : Network Engineer Location: BangaloreExperience: 5-7 yearsWork mode: On-Site*Contract 6 months*ROLE SUMMARY:• Seniority level above 5-7 years of demonstrated ability in networking.• Ability to architect, design, define standards, generate, and deploy blueprints of network designs.• Proficient understanding of traffic patterns, packet captures and network protocols/applications (TCP/IP,and internet architectures.• Proven knowledge and experience with Firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto or Fortinet)• Desirable knowledge and experience with proxies, packet capture devices, IDS/IPS and DDoS.• Desirable knowledge and experience with DDI (Infoblox), Load balancers (F5 with iRules),• Desirable knowledge and experience with RIRs (Regional Internet Registry) and DNS registrars.• Desirable knowledge and experience with Cloudflare, Akamai, Infoblox BloxOne• Automation with Python, Ansible, terraform, GitLab pipelines using DevOps practices.• Knowledge and experience with cloud connectivity and cloud networking constructs for at least one cloudprovider - Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle• Knowledge and experience with monitoring and observability protocols, tools, and applications.• Handle numerous projects with contending priorities in a constantly evolving environment.• Cultivate collaboration, advocate for documentation and knowledge sharing.• Flexibility for compensated occasional work during weekends.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:• Focus on design, implementation and automate within LSE Firewall space to support product base modeldelivery.• Firewall upgrades and Firewall hardware migration between multi-vendor environments• Proper understating on the environmental knowledge with DHCP/DNS/IPAM, Firewalls, Load balancers, Timeprotocol, proxy and Cloud applications.• Assess, plan, design, and implementation of the infrastructure.• Capacity planning and troubleshooting of the network applications products, infrastructure, and services.• Monitoring and observability of the network applications products infrastructure.• Source code management and development.• Leverage testing environments using industry practices for pre-testing changes and proof of concept.• On-call rotation shifts
