Cashier: Hotel

Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for handling all billing, cash, and payment transactions in the hotel and restaurant. This role requires accuracy, speed, and a customer-centric attitude to ensure smooth financial operations while maintaining excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the billing counter and issue bills/receipts to customers.
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other payment methods.
• Maintain and reconcile daily cash register, ensuring zero discrepancies.
• Ensure timely deposit of cash to accounts.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests during payment.
• Work closely with the accounts team to prepare daily sales and expense reports.
• Handle refund and discount approvals as per policy.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and financial guidelines.

Mandatory Skillset & Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cashier in a hotel/restaurant setup preferred.
• Strong numerical and basic accounting skills.
• Familiarity with POS/billing software.
• Customer-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle pressure during rush hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
